Last Minute Valentine’s Gift Ideas for the Girl Who Has Everything

Eek!  You have two days left until Valentine’s Day, and even if your girlfriend/wife/fiancee/partner/whatever you want to call her says she doesn’t want a gift, you can bet she’ll be disappointed if you don’t buy her at least something.  While roses and chocolates are the easy option (and something that many girls are still happy to receive – myself included), sometimes it can be nice to buy something a little more personal.

But ahmagawd you have two days, you’re at work, and you have no time to sort this out!  Well, fret not.  If you have Amazon Prime, you can order something today and get it delivered tomorrow/Thursday, in time for the sexiest night of the year.  I’ve come up with a few ideas I personally would love that I hope will make your girl happy below.

Disclaimer – I’ve included Amazon affiliate links to these products which will net me a small percentage of the sale price if anyone chooses to purchase them.  They’re all things I genuinely think are great, though – I don’t recommend crap.

Kindle Paperwhite

At the end of a long day, with nothing good on the TV, there’s no better way to spend the evening than curled up on the sofa with a good book… or so I used to think.  These days, I’m all about the convenience of technology.  I don’t have time to head to Waterstones or WH Smith when I want something to read, and the closest library is miles away.  This is where a Kindle comes in handy.  Rather than waiting for a physical book to arrive, I can choose what I want to read, download it to my Kindle, and be reading it within seconds.

So, why the Kindle Paperwhite?  Well, it doesn’t have the distractions of the Kindle Fire, and the screen has been so well-made that you could be forgiven for thinking you were reading an actual book – okay, not quite, but you know what I mean.  It’s also waterproof, which is ideal for those who like reading in the bath, and can store up to 32GB of books and Audible titles.  I use my Paperwhite loads at this time of the year and it was Fred who originally gifted it to me.  He had a good Valentine’s Day that year!

Bath Bombs

Another great gift idea for the stressed out worker/mum is a luxurious set of bath bombs – even better if you can give her an hour or two alone to relax in the scented oils without disturbance.

Where bath bombs are concerned, I find that some are better than others.  Lush is obviously a firm favourite with many women, but unless you have a store near you, you won’t be able to pick them up in time.  I’m also (sorry) not a fan of the Bomb Cosmetics brand as the bombs take forever to dissolve and just seem to leave my bath water feeling oily.  One brand that Amazon sell that I do love is Inteye.  Their bombs are organic, they foam well, and they come in a gorgeous gift box that makes them look way more expensive than they are.

Inteye Organic Bath Bombs – £12.99

Scratch Off World Map Poster

If you want to surprise your loved one with a trip abroad, you have plenty of great destinations to choose from.  Take the Eurostar to Paris, hop on a Mediterranean Cruise, or book flights to Thailand – the choice is yours!  If you’ve decided to go down this route, you’ll likely be looking for a fun way to present the gift to your partner.  My top choice here is the Scratch Off World Map Poster.

When the item arrives, scratch off the destination you want to take her to.  Wrap it up in a nicely presented tube with a bow and a ribbon, and see how long it takes her to guess what your surprise is.  This gift can also be accompanied by a homemade dinner from the cuisine of the country you’re taking her to.  There are tons of options here, and it’s a fun gift idea that is guaranteed to go down well!

Scratch Off World Map Poster – £13.40.

instax SQUARE SQ6 Instant Camera

Does your other half love taking selfies?  Does she have quite the following on Instagram?  If so, the perfect gift for her could be the Square SQ6 Instant Camera from instax.  This is like the cameras from the days of old – yes it even has a film in it that you have to develop!  However, unlike the cameras of old, it takes square photos and comes with a range of filters that will enable her to customise her shots.

It’s a fantastic gift idea for photographers, social media lovers, creatives, and basically anyone who enjoys taking pretty pictures of themselves and others.  It’s also really unique and shows that you’ve placed some thought into what to buy for your significant other.

instax Square SQ6 Instant Camera – £114.00

Funko Pop

If you’ve not heard of Funko Pops where have you been living over the last decade?  These pop culture collectables are huge, and you can find figurines of characters from all your favourite TV shows, films, bands, games, and more.  Myself and Fred have been collecting Funko Pops for quite a few years now, and even though he’s a nightmare to buy for (you are Fred if you’re reading this!), I always know I’ll be able to find a Funko from whatever obscure TV show he’s currently watching.

Not only do they look cute, but get lucky and you’ll find that some Funko Pops rise in price drastically over the years.  I have a Sheldon Cooper figurine that was purchased for £8 and now costs over £100.  So, really, it’s an investment as well as a fun present idea!

Funko Pops – price varies but they usually start around £7.99

The 500 Hidden Secrets of London

If you live in London, you’re lucky when it comes to occasions as you have hundreds of different date night options available to you that people who live in the country don’t have access to.  However, if you’ve lived in the capital your whole life, it can start to feel like you’ve been everywhere and seen everything the city has to offer.  This is where The 500 Hidden Secrets of London comes in.

This paperback contains a list of 500 unique places to spend some time with your loved one.  From cafes and bars, to museums and gardens, there’s sure to be some ideas in here you’ve never considered.  Why not buy the paperback for your loved one and see where she fancies going on Valentine’s night?  This is especially ideal if you haven’t booked anywhere yet – and know your favourite places will have been fully booked weeks ago 😉

The 500 Hidden Secrets of London – £9.94

Of course, if all of the above fails, you can always take the easy option and buy her a gift card.  It’s not exactly personal, but a lot of women like to choose their own gifts – especially those who truly do have it all.

Spread the love
